For this week's show (6/03/10):

The MOD returns to the airwaves with a huge night lined up, including an exclusive mix from NYC's very own:

HOW HARD - Hardmind / Hard Kryptic Records - NYC

Be sure you tune in for this exclusive hardcore gabber mix that won't be heard anywhere else!!

Bio:

DJ How Hard aka The Pied Piper of Hardcore has always been drawn to extreme sounds. Even prior to his DJ career, he had an affinity toward Hardcore, Metal, and Punk. With a solid childhood background in music theory, he had consistently felt connected to music and sound. After many years of mastering the guitar and drums in various bands as a teenager, his interests evolved to something new. Electronic music was a different form of creative expression and a fascinating way of building sound, something he could tackle on his own as an individual, not as a unit.

"The most important thing is staying true to myself and the music I love to play- not giving in to spinning another style just because its more popular or because it'll get me more gigs. It's a great feeling when a DJ can pack a dancefloor but a more profound accomplishment though is turning the crowd on to something you truly love." An obscene fan of overall hard music, How Hard is known for his general versatility; tasting everything from Industrial mayhem to clanking hard techno to fist in the air Anthems and so much more. His view on DJing is as if he is painting a picture. "With DJing, it is another way of expressing yourself through music. To me, each record is not just a song. It's a tool. A piece in a puzzle. You take these pieces of music and put them together in anyway you can to create this larger, more elaborate picture & soundscape." Having caused much ruckus throughout North America, he has the uncanny ability to call the masses to the floor and has become the favorite of thousands of the new generation hungry Hardcore-addicts.

Along with live DJ sets from your MOD hosts:

Elekid - Hard House
Raymond Baer - Good music

Tune in time: 8-11pm pacific time (10pm-1am central time). Location to tune in & chat: click this
